Liquid Shaker Cards

Welcome to Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs’ inspiration hop! Today, the design team is showing off the new Inky Stamp Set and I’ve created a trio of liquid shaker backgrounds that perfectly accompany these adorable octopi. This set in another collaboration between The Rabbit Hole Designs and Duff Designs, two of my favorites! 

I’ve created a quick video showing you how to create liquid filled shaker cards, using three of the most common liquids for this technique. I used, hair gel, dish soap, and mineral oil as the bases for the shakers and added a combination of glitters and sequins to give the liquids more shimmer and dimension.   13. I’m saving this in my inspiration folder. Thank you for the tutorial! Must. Have. This. Set. I’m a teacher and at my school all employees and students are divided into “houses”, Harry Potter style. I’m in house Acceptance, and our mascot is the octopus (more arms to be more accepting). I will make SO many cards with this set!
