I’m excited to share the beautiful Christmas tree cards I made using the Holiday Dovetail Card die set from i-crafter. Not only are they fast and easy to create, you can cut four cards from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock, so they’re paper savers too! Let me walk you through the process….
I cut four card bases from a sheet of pink cardstock. You can see in the photo below, you’ll have a few strips leftover for another project.
The next step is optional. I cut four triangles from a 2ÂĽ” x 12″ strip of coordinating pattern paper, to decorate the inside of the cards. Again, there will be an extra piece to go back into the scrap bin.
Assembly is really easy. The card base die embosses the score line down the center of the card. I folded each one in half and glued the decorative triangles inside.
To decorate the front of the cards, I die cut a gold star and one of the sentiments from gold glitter cardstock. Often times, I stack several layers of die cuts, but not for these. I wanted to keep them quick and easy to recreate. I glued them in place and added a few gold star confetti pieces to the tree.
That’s it! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. And fast too; all four cards came together in less than 40 minutes! Aren’t they pretty? I love them in pink, but you can use traditional colors if you prefer.
These cards are really neat; I love the 3D look when the card is standing up. I know they’ll look great on the mantles of the homes they are going to. I hope you’ll give the Holiday Dovetail Card set a try. Tag me if you do!
Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll be back tomorrow with a fun Thanksgiving card to share.

WOW! Talk about a show-stopped! Yes, screaming to be on display on a mantle! While I’m much too old for a pink Christmas tree 🙂 I have to admit this one is just beautiful! I might just have to have the die, so I’m off to check it out.. Have a great day Amanda!
