If you like to color, you are definitely going to want to check out the new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs! There are three new stamp sets and all of them are fun to color. First up is Beautiful Disaster…
This girl is so pretty, and she reminds me of my niece. As it just so happens, I got this stamp in time for my niece’s birthday.
After stamping her in black ink, I colored her with Copic markers. One of the things I like to do for hair is to add little metallic gel pen highlights. It can be too bold if you’re not careful, so I draw on a little line, then quickly wipe and smudge it with my finger. If you accidentally get more ink on than you intend, you can cover it up with colored pencils. Make sure that you don’t go over the gel ink with your Copics though; it will gum up the tips. (Ask me how I know π )
Once I was happy with the coloring, I stamped my sentiment and splattered on some gold shimmer. Trimming the panel down allowed the borders of my pink card base to show. A few gold sequins and another sentiment inside finished the card off. Do you have any tricks you use for coloring people? I’d love to know! Are you ready to see how the rest of the team colored her? Hop along with us!
Your coloring is just gorgeous, especially her skin.
Beautiful coloring!
