Design Team

Amanda is one of the founders of Pear Blossom Press, and is focused on offering unique and innovative products for papercrafters. As a long time crafter, she has worked with all types of mediums, but her favorite of all is cardmaking. She loves to take tools and techniques from other fields and develop them specifically for papercrafts. When she isn't teaching in person, or through videos, she is busy developing new products. 

Hi there!  I'm Amanda Fitterer and I'm so glad you're here on the Pear Blossom Press Design Team page!  I'm the Design Team Coordinator of this amazingly talented team!  Feel free to get in touch with me if you're interested in designing for us, collaborating with us or or have any questions! 

A little bit about myself:  I’ve been cardmaking since I was 14 years old when my Granny gave me some supplies and showed me the ropes!  Now, I’m teaching my 2 kiddos how to make cards, too!  Crafting brings me peace and allows me to get all of my creative energy out!  I also enjoy scrapbooking, bullet journaling, handlettering, planning, and photography!  But, cardmaking is by far my favorite hobby!

Hi, my name is April Leithner and I live with my wonderful husband in North Central Texas.  We have 2 amazing kids, a terrific son-in-law and the cutest grandson.  I have been making cards and paper crafting for over 23 years.  I love sending handmade hugs to friends and loved ones.  There is something very special about receiving a handmade card.  I love creating fun backgrounds for my cards and getting inky.  I spend most of my time creating cards but I also love to read, travel; and spend time with my family. I am so excited to be a part of the Pear Blossom Press Design Team!

I’m a mom to two adult kids and wife to an army tanker.  Papercrafting has been a huge part of my life for well over 20 years, and I love sharing and teaching it to others.  If I’m not making something with paper, I’m out doing things in our military community, or camping with our Siamese cats (Max and Myles).

Debbie loved art as a child and teen, but put this on the back burner when "life happened" and she transitioned into a wife and mother as well as working full time just to make ends meet.  Now that her kids are grown, she has finally had time to invest in her passions.  Creating cards and other crafting projects and teaching others to unlock their inner creator.

Hello there! My name is Jenn! I have been crafting and creating since I remember holding crayons. I am super intrigued by interactive paper crafts and love adding movement and lights to my creations.

I hail from the Midwest living with my German hubby (my biggest fan and craft supporter) and our German Shepherd, Cali (a bigger fan of mom's belly rubs).

I like to think outside the box and look for inspiration everywhere. I look forward to sharing this creative journey!

Hi I'm Jessie. I have dabbled in lots of crafts all my life, but have been making cards for over 10 years. I love to laugh while making cards,  especially if I can get a pun in! Most of all I love to show folks how easy it is to make a "wow" card. I hope we can make amazing things together!

Hello there! I am Kavya. I have always been a creative soul, but I found my true passion when I discovered stamping and die cutting back in middle school. After a brief break to concentrate on school and college, I just got back into cardmaking in 2020 to relax myself and I am so glad I did! I like to try out many different styles and techniques, but I love working with critters the most. I love to experiment and come up with unique and unexpected ways to use products in my stash! I hope I inspire you with my projects!

Hi, my name is Lauren Taylor and I like to make things! Handmade cards are my favorite paper crafts to make - especially interactive ones. I live in Southern California and have been making cards for about 15 years. I have an engineering degree, married to the best guy around, and I have a wonderful and creative daughter. Hi! I’m Linh – or LV Handcrafted on social media. I live in Seattle, WA with my husband and our two dogs. I’ve been crafting since I was in high school but took a long break as I started my career. Now (many many years later) I am my own boss working as a business consultant, so I can balance my time and do more of what I love – papercrafting! Interactive cards are among my favorite to make and the Pear Blossom Press lights make it so simple and fun. It’s such an honor to join this amazingly talented team of designers. There’s always so much to learn in papercrafting, and I find great joy in adding my own twist and sharing what I’ve learned.  I’m sure I’ll learn a great deal from my teammates and our crafty community and fans of Pear Blossom Press.

I'm Tasha, but I go by HandmadeByTasha most places.  I live in the UK, with my husband and two daughters.  I began crafting after I was taken ill in 2016 and I soon discovered the joy it brought me to be able to do something; I was unable to walk and my hands didn't do everything I wanted them to, but I could still achieve something and that was such a revelation.

In card making I found the opportunity to work with whatever medium I fancied that day, making whatever I felt inspired to do in that moment. I could make these small pieces of art that would go out into the world and hopefully put a smile on someone's face.  At the age of 12, my art teacher told me I couldn't draw, that stuck with me. That hurt!  I want to tell you that you can do whatever you want to do and give you the courage to try something. You never know, you might like it!  It might even change your life, it did mine!

Hello crafty friends, my name is Rachel and I'm so excited to be on the Pear Blossom Press design team. I'm 32 years young and live in the Netherlands with my 2-year-old son, Eden and my husband Edward. My hobbies are cardmaking, scrapbooking, gaming and watching movies. I cannot wait to start making light up cards for you guys, and hopefully inspire you to make some yourself.

My name is Shawne, I am an illustrator and avid crafter. I have been making cards since 2005. I took off some time to raise my four daughters. Still doing that btw, are we ever really done?! I homeschool my youngest. I’m also mom to 3 dogs and 3 cats. We like our furry friends around here, so we also don’t eat mammals. I am a little ADD so I have a very eclectic style from CAS to detailed scenes. I love color, bright and bold, sometimes pastel to dark and moody. You never know what you might see from me. I love to try new crafts and new mediums and am super excited to light up my cards!

My name is Sylvie aka Kaliscards. Kali is my sweet cat girl and I decided to name my social media accounts Kali's cards, as we share the same space when I craft. I started handcrafting Christmas cards about two decades ago, with basic supplies, but it's only a few years ago that I decided to buy my first Big shot, alcohol markers, ink pads and stamp sets. And I just became addicted. Cardmaking has become a true passion to which I dedicate most of my time off.

Hello, my name is Wendy and I am a paper crafting addict. Glad we got that out of the way. I have been cardmaking since 2010 and absolutely love this hobby turned career. If you would have told me 10 years ago I would make a living playing with paper and ink I would have had a good chuckle. Over a decade later, I am still playing with paper and ink and absolutely love it. I live in Northern California with my beautiful family and lots of animals. I hope to provide some awesome inspiration by being part of the Pear Blossom Press Design Team.
