Happy World Card Making Day, friends! I’m so excited to share this double interactive camera card—it lights up AND slides open, which I think is just the coolest mechanism. I built in a little escape hatch so you can replace the battery when it runs down, because in my house, cards get passed around and played with constantly!

The sliding mechanism uses a Snap ‘N Slide from Pear Blossom Press, and honestly, these work better than anything else I’ve tried for moving elements. The One Light creates this fun flash effect when you press the snowman’s hat, and Sticky Spots make assembly so much easier when you’re layering everything together.
I went with a non-traditional teal and pink color scheme that I’m absolutely loving—it’s fun to play around with different Christmas colors! This card has so many fun details to discover, from the tiny snowman to the free printable sentiment tucked behind the tree. I hope this inspires you to create something interactive and fun today!
