Welcome to day 2 of the new release celebration for The Rabbit Hole Designs! I’m back with another quick and easy card, that has a monochromatic color scheme, and tons of sparkle. Making this card is so easy, you can whip out a batch to have on hand for lots of occasions. Let me walk you through the steps.
First, using the new Overlapping Circles Stencil, blend pink ink onto a white panel, gradually fading the ink out as you move toward the top of the panel. (Of course, you can change the color to suit your needs. This stencil can be used for masculine or feminine cards.) Trim the panel down to 2¼” x 5¼” and layer it onto an ombre holographic panel measuring 3″ x 6.” Then, glue that onto a pink mini-slimline card base, measuring 3¼” x 6¼.”
For the sentiment, die cut the word HELLO three times from white cardstock, and once more from the same holographic stock. Cut the coordinating shadow from vellum. Then, layer the sentiment with one white layer under the vellum, two on top, and the holographic on the very top. (The white layer on the bottom of the vellum will elevate it just a bit and help it stand out from the card base.) Glue the stacked sentiment onto the card, leaving room for a sub-sentiment underneath. I stamped the word GORGEOUS from the Scripty Hello stamp set that coordinates with the die set. You can choose from several options. Finish the card with a few round and heart gems for more sparkle. Check out the shine…
