Kavya from @handmadebykavya here with another fun project! I came across this scene of a young boy fishing for stars in the night sky in a children’s book a while back and I thought it would the perfect project to recreate for a night-up card!

For today’s card, I created my background by ink blending a night sky using shades of blue, purple, pink and mint distress oxide inks. Then, I stamped, colored and diecut a bunch if images from MFT’s BB Space Explorer, Heffy Doodle + Crafty Meraki’s Superstar and Hello Bluebird’s Fishing Hole. I also diecut and ink blended some clouds. After adhering all the images to the cardbase and heat embossing a sentiment, I poked some tiny holes and added the Twinkle Lights as shown below. That’s it! I was done!
