Hi crafty friends! Simeen here and I am back with another light up card!
I am still on my Halloween kick and so for today’s project I decided to open up my Spellbinders Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar.
Day 1 was a spooky, but oh so cute, Dracula. This little guy was pretty simple to put together with the scraps I had around. At first I thought I would make his Dracula teeth light up, but I wanted more! So I decided it would be so fun to use the Halo Light and have a glow around him.
I cut out a circle from my card base and backed it with vellum. To make the vellum look almost moon like, I ink blended some purple and yellow using my distressed oxide inks. The halo was SO EASY to place down because I had the circle already cut out. I adhered everything down using some tape and foam tape. And just like that my card was complete.
I can’t believe how easy it is to put these light up cards together. Though this is my last post as a guest designer, this will not be my last light up card.
