I die cut the lava lamp pieces from pink, red, and silver cardstock. I die cut the lava lamp drips from red and pink vellum. The lamp outline is die cut from a piece of cardstock with a sheet of foam adhesive added to the back creating the dimensional lamp inside. I die cut a piece of clear acetate to cover the lamp along with an addition lamp outline from pink cardstock to glue on the front of the lava lamp. You can see how the Pear Blossom Press one light is positioned. A silver cardstock lamp back is added to help reflect the light.
I used the Mid Century Atomic Strand Stencil to create a partial background behind the lava lamp. I attached it to a black A2 card base. I wrote “push” on the lamp base over the one light button and added foam strips to the backside of the lower lamp base and the lamp cap and secured it into placce with a bit of glue. I stamped out the “You Glow Girl!” sentiment and added a bit of yellow ink around the edge to give it a glow. It is attached just under the lava lamp to complete the card
