Hey all! Nicole here today for a guest spot designing with the awesome Twinkle Lights from Pear Blossom Press!ย The minute that Amanda reached out to me I knew exactly the kind of scrapbook page that I wanted to create with some twinkling lights!ย The lights came two to a pack and you just snap them apart to use one, add the battery and you are ready to insert into your project!

I grabbed this pic of my hubby and daughters to make this page.ย Since I knew I would be lighting it up I definitely wanted to use the title of “You Light Up My Life”!ย I also grabbed the new Flower Emporium collection from 49 and Market to use with this page.ย I decided to use the patterned paper that looks like beautiful orange mixed media on it (makes it easy for me!)!ย I also knew immediately that I wanted to do a banner with the twinkle lights sticking out amongst the little flags, so I used some bunting punches to make the flags using the 6×8 papers from Flower Emporium.

I placed down a little “shelf” for my banner and photo to rest on and glued the main part of the lights behind it.ย I then arranged the lights and the little banners.ย I glued and taped it all down to make sure that it was good and stuck!ย I tested and IT WORKED!!!ย I was so excited!ย I took out a chipboard piece from Flower Emporium that said “HERE”, so I just had to stamp on the little “push” from the stamp included with my lights and I added it to the area where you need to push!

I added my photo and some twine to really add the banner look. I then came in with more embellishments from Flower Emporium and added some twinkle stars stamps from the stamp from Pear Blossom. I finished up my page with some journaling.
Thanks so much for popping on to read about my layout! I hope it gives you some ideas on how to use your twinkle lights in scrapbooking! I’m so happy to have guest designed for you,
Nicole Santos
