Bold & Bright with Hero Arts

Woohoo! It’s time for the Bold & Bright Collaboration Hop with Hero Arts! You’re going to see some of the coolest light-up cards, all featuring your favorite stamps and dies from Hero Arts, and EZ-Lights from us! Get ready for lots of inspiration, and be sure to comment as you hop along, for your chance to win a $50 store credit!Β

You know I couldn’t wait to dive in, so here’s a quick look at my card…

I wanted to create a submarine window that peers into the deep ocean waters. Press the button to illuminate the scene outside. Then, when you open the card, you can see more of the scene. I stamped and ink blended the scene on circles, to mimic bubbles.

To light up the window on the front, I sandwiched the three lights of my EZ-Light between foam and the acetate window panels. (I used acetate and the Porthole die on both sides of the window, with foam in between.)

I’ve got a full length process video coming soon to show you how I assembled this card. Get your supplies now, and we can assemble it together…

Are you ready to see what the rest of our designers have created? I sure am! (Did you see the rock stars in this lineup?! Wow!!!) Let’s hop along…

Every good hop has prizes, right? So Hero Arts, and Pear Blossom Press are each giving away a $50 store credit! Comment on this post by January 29, 2021 to be entered to win. Winners will be posted here, on the Pear Blossom Press Blog, on February 6, 2021.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Here are a few more pictures of my finished card, along with a Copic coloring guide, in case you’d like the markers I used.
