Hello from Guest Designer Lidya!

Hello, crafty friends! This is Lidya or leeds_craftroom on Instagram. I’m so excited to share my second project for Pear Blossom Press today! I’m sharing a cute light-up card using the EZ lights and it is super fun and easy to make.

Products Used:

Pear Blossom Press EZ-Light Β 2 Pack

Pear Blossom Press World’s Best Foam Tape

Pear Blossom Press Stamp and Bundle Dies

Hello Bluebird Carried Away Stamps

Hello Bluebird Jane Small Alpha Die

Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders Die

Lawn Fawn Really High Five Stamps

First, I stamped all the images, colored them using Copic Markers, and fussy-cut them out. I took white cardstock and ink-blended Distress Oxide colors: Black Soot, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, and Dried Marigold.

Next, I planned where I wanted to place all my critters and used my die pick tool to punch three holes where I desired the lights to shine through. Taking another piece of white cardstock, I used a pencil to mark the spots as a guide. Subsequently, I attached the lights to these marked spots using clear tape. The battery unit was then adhered with double-sided adhesive, and the included battery was inserted. Additionally, I applied the World’s Best Foam Tape.

I die-cut a white card stock using the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders Die and added glitter for extra fun!Β I used the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Really High Five Stamps, heat-embossed it onto black cardstock using white embossing powder. Additionally, I die-cut the word ‘hello’ using the Hello Bluebird Jane Small Alpha Die.

Finally, I assembled all the panels together and voila! A cute light-up Hello Card is complete!

I hope you enjoyed the card and feel inspired to create your own light-up card!Β Follow me on Instagram @leeds_craftroom to see more of my happy creations! Thank you so much for stopping by! XOXO, Lidya
