I adore Halloween!Β Give me some cute little ghosts and some fun puns, and I am all about it.Β Today we’re going to take it a step further by adding some EZ-Lights!Β Hey everyone, it’s Cassie here with another video tutorial to share with you.Β I love the new Sheets & Giggles stamp set from Trinity Stamps, and as soon as I saw the ghosts, I knew I wanted to make them light up.
I started by die cutting the ghosts out of a piece of Sentiment Stock.Β That stuff is my favorite for stamping and embossing white onto black cardstock, but because of the look and feel of the Sentiment Stock, I really wanted to use it for my main panel.Β It’s such a smooth surface with an almost matte finish that it was perfect for what I was going for.Β After the ghosts were die cut, I lined up a piece of velllum under my Sentiment Stock that was the same size.Β I placed that into my stamp positioner and lined up my stamps through the die cuts, and stamped my ghosts onto the vellum using black pigment ink and clear embossing powder.Β That was the trickiest part, because next came the lights and you have to know how easy those are. . .it’s in the name!Β I have a whole video showing my entire process that you can watch here or over on my YouTube Channel.
I even have a bonus card that I made using an Action Wobbler!Β I love those things.Β They are such a great way to add a little something extra without adding bulk.
Thank you so much for spending time with me today.Β I hope it has inspired you to get a little inky and bust into some EZ-Lights.
