Liquid Shaker Cards

Welcome to Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs’ inspiration hop! Today, the design team is showing off the new Inky Stamp Set and I’ve created a trio of liquid shaker backgrounds that perfectly accompany these adorable octopi. This set in another collaboration between The Rabbit Hole Designs and Duff Designs, two of my favorites!

I’ve created a quick video showing you how to create liquid filled shaker cards, using three of the most common liquids for this technique. I used, hair gel, dish soap, and mineral oil as the bases for the shakers and added a combination of glitters and sequins to give the liquids more shimmer and dimension. You can watch the video here…

As promised in the video, I’ve got links to the products I used to created these cards:

Specialty Items & Embellishments
Hair Gel
Dish Soap
Mineral Oil
Aqua Shimmer Pen
Diamond Glaze in a Blue Fineline Bottle
Assorted Glitter & Sequins

I hope you’ll give liquid shakers a try, and please let me know if you have any questions about the process. For more Inky inspiration, hop along with us! (Links below.)
