Hello and welcome back to the Pear Blossom Press Blog! Enza Gudor here, and today I’m sharing a new Halloween card featuring EZ-Lights.
This card is fun and playful, and features the 7-Piece Cathedral Pop Up Tunnel and Halloween Furniture Metal Craft Die Bundle from Scrappy Tails.

CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
Although this card is packed with intricate details, it’s surprisingly simple to make. The most time-consuming part was die-cutting and assembling all the pieces, but the results are well worth it! I absolutely love the A7 Haunted Mansion Wallpaper Cover Plate Metal Craft Die; its elegant, wallpaper-like pattern adds instant texture and visual interest to the background. To make the design pop, I matted the die-cut panel with a lighter shade of purple, which adds contrast and highlights the spooky charm.
Next, I began arranging the elements to build my spooky scene, keeping in mind that I wanted the lights to cast a glow over the water’s surface. As shown in the photo below, I carefully poked holes where each light would shine through, then secured the wires and battery pack in place with tape. Once everything was set, I used foam tape to adhere the panel to the A2 card base, adding both dimension and space for the lighting components.
My goal with this card was to create a design full of tiny, hidden details that reveal themselves the longer you look. From subtle glitter accents to the shimmer of metallic cardstock and delicate touches of glitter pen, each element invites you to look again and again, sparking curiosity about how it all came together. While the overall design is simple, it’s layered with surprises, making it a card that’s both easy to create and fun to explore.
EZ-Lights are super simple to use and add the right amount of magical glow that brings your spooky scenes to life. I hope this card inspires you to light up your next haunted masterpiece.
