Teacher Card with Halo Lights

Hello and welcome back to the Pear Blossom Press Blog! Enza Gudor here, and today I’m sharing a super fun teacher’s card featuring Halo Lights

I used the Classroom Chronicles Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders for my card.

SUPPLIES:
Halo Lights – Pear Blossom Press
Shaker Domes – Pear Blossom Press
World’s Greatest Foam Tape – Pear Blossom Press
A2 Vellum White – Pear Blossom Press
PB PRESS Stamp and Die Bundle
Tiny Square Texture Die – Waffle Flower
Classroom Chronicles – Spellbinders
Cardstock – Scrapbook.com

CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
This card was a lot of fun to make. First of all, I adore this die set – it’s so cute! Secondly, I used lots of bright colors, which is my jam.

After die-cutting all my pieces, I used a 2” circle die to cut my opening on the panel. I knew I wanted to use a Pear Blossom Press Shaker Dome, so I created a space for it toward the top portion of the paper. The apple fit perfectly in it. I first glued it to a 2” piece of vellum and then added little stars and the dome on top.

Next, I measured the distance from the circle to the edge of the panel to make sure I had the correct placement for the Halo Lights, and added foam tape around the circle.

I love how the red mat creates a pink hue!

Once the panel was ready, I arranged the rest of my die cut pieces onto the card and positioned the “press here” button on the “o” in the word “wisdom”. I also created a frame around the circle to give it a more finished look.

A few enamel dots in coordinating colors finished the card.

I hope you feel inspired to create with Halo Lights. They are beautiful and perfect for any project.
