If you’ve been thinking about adding lights to your handmade cards but assumed they were complicated, I’d love to introduce you to the EZ Lights. They really live up to their name! With three lights powered by a single battery, you can create amazing interactive cards without complicated wiring or multiple battery packs. It makes adding that “WOW!” factor surprisingly simple.
For today’s card, I wanted the comic-style sentiments to steal the show…literally!
I stamped and colored the images from the Super Sentiments stamp set from Crafty Stamp Co. using my OLO Markers, then arranged them so each speech bubble would come to life with the EZ Lights hidden behind them. The result is a clean and simple card that delivers a huge surprise when the recipient presses the button.
One of my favorite things about interactive cards is how they transform a simple greeting into an experience. There’s just something magical about watching someone discover that their handmade card lights up!
