Are you ready for the new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs? Today kicks off day 1 of the celebration, and I’ve got a whimsical wobbly Santa card to share. It features the new Kringle stamp set and an Action Wobble to add motion. Look how fun it is to play with…
This card was easy to create. I stamped Santa, the banner, and one of each of the trees. I colored them all with Copic markers and added some shading with colored pencils. My ScanNCut helped to quickly fussy cut the images. I curved the sentiment and stamped and embossed it on the banner. Then, I connected the banner to Santa with a toothpick.
For the background, I stamped a border of trees on an A2 panel and colored them with the same Copic markers I used for the other trees. I lightly ink blended Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink above the treeline, using a new Cotton Tail blending brush. Next, I die cut two layers of stitched hillside borders to create the ice and snowbank. Using a heavy hand, I blended a coat of Speckled Egg onto the ice layer, and just a faint amount of ink on the snowbank, so it wouldn’t be stark white. To create a nice border, I trimmed the tree panel to 4″ x 5¼” and glued it to my card base. I popped the snowbank and ice layers up with foam tape.
To pull the card together, I glued the two separate trees to the snowbank, using foam tape behind the tops. I attached Santa with a Mini Action Wobble. Then, I used a white paint pen to add snowy dots all over the scene. A few scattered white gems finish the card.

I love how this one turned out! It may seem a little complicated because there are several layers, but this card would be easy to mass produce, assembly line style. I’d probably break it up over a few nights. Have you started your holiday cards yet? I’ve got a whole slew of them to share this month, so stay tuned!

GIVEAWAYS:
Adorable card! And yes, mass-production needed for holidays in our house when 50-60 cards are sent out. I only get to enjoy one of a kind personalized cards for all those birthday, anniversary, etc. and, as you know, most videos deal only with one-at-a-time cards. More easily mass-produced card videos would be much appreciated!
I love this card 🥰
That is the cutest Santa!
