A Lighthouse Light Up Card

I have really been into A7 cards lately, and when I saw this Lighthouse die from Trinity Stamps I knew I had to pair it with an EZ Light.  Hey y’all it’s Cassie here with another video tutorial to share.  This particular lighthouse die is a bit bigger than others I’ve seen, and since I’m on a bit of an A7 kick, I knew it would work perfectly.  A 5×7 card gives a good amount of real estate to work with, so I decided to turn mine into a scene card.  I used the Layered Peninsula stencil, which happens to be new as well to make my background onto some navy cardstock.  Distress Oxide inks work perfectly on darker cardstocks, because they sit on top of the paper rather than soak in.  I colored my lighthouse with Copic markers and placed it on my scene.  I poked some holes where my lights would shine through and used vellum to cover those holes, then proceeded to place my EZ Light on the back.

As I mentioned earlier, this is a video tutorial, so if you’d like to see exactly how I made it you can watch here or over on my YouTube Channel.

I hope this post encourages you to get inky and maybe even play with some lights!  Thanks for stopping by!
