Hello, crafty friends! It’s Meg from I Teach Stamping, and I’m so excited to be designing for Pear Blossom Press again! Today’s card is a little spooky, a lot cute, and lights up with just the touch of a finger.
For this Halloween card, I used the adorable Bewitching Stamps and Dies from Sunny Studio Stamps. The sweet little witchy kitty and bubbling cauldron were colored with my beloved OLO Markers.
I kept the rest of the design fairly simple, using soft purple patterned paper, vellum, and a textured white background. These layers give the card plenty of interest while letting the stamped images—and that fun light-up feature—steal the show.
Just One Little Light
The Pear Blossom Press One Light was perfect for this card because I wanted the glow concentrated in one specific spot. Press the cauldron, and the light shines behind it like a bubbling witch’s brew!
One Light makes it so easy to add an interactive element without making the card complicated. It’s such a fun surprise for the person receiving it, too.
