Hey crafty friend, can you believe it’s almost Christmas? I feel like I blinked and the whole year passed. But that’s okay; I just fast-forwarded to my favorite holiday! With only a week to go, I’ve been busy wrapping presents and I wanted to share one of the cute tags I designed. You might be expecting it to light up, but there’s a different interactive element at work instead…

That’s right, they WOBBLE! Mini Action Wobbles are a quick and easy way to add movement to your cards, with almost no effort. They’re little plastic springs that have adhesive on both ends, so you stick one side to your base and the other to any die cut element you want to wiggle around. Easy peasy! For these tags, I pulled out stamps and dies from Trinity Stamps and i-crafter. After cutting the pieces, I used my WOW! Embossing Pen and Puff Powder to add snowy texture to the trees. It’s such a cool effect! Mini Action Wobbles pop up the main trees and let them dance. These came together really fast, so I whipped up a whole batch. I chose a soft aqua color for my tags and background trees to coordinate with a roll of wrapping paper that I’m trying to use up; you can pick colors to coordinate with your paper. I also chose to put my stars down a bit from the top of the trees, that way they look more like hair accessories than tree toppers. It adds charm and character. Don’t forget sparkly gems and pretty ribbons!
