Hello again my crafty friend! It’s day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs‘ new release and inspiration hop. Today, I get to show you the fun card I made with the new Caffeinated Butterfly! I paired her up with the Caffeinated Bee and attached them both with Mini Action Wobblers to create an amusing interactive element. I can’t stop playing with them…
This card was easy to create. I stamped, embossed, colored, and fussy cut the Caffeinated Butterfly and Caffeinated Bee. I added white and gold gel pen details, as well as Aqua Shimmer and Diamond Glaze to their eyes and mugs. I die cut flowers and leaves from cardstock and glitter paper in coordinating colors. I ink blended Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink onto the front of a white card base, then splattered gold Shimmer Spritz on top. When it was dry, I used a combination of PVA glue and foam tape to adhere the floral layers on. I added the butterfly and bee with Mini Action Wobblers. To finish the card, I added an embossed sentiment from the Perfectly Blended stamp set on a die cut banner.
How sweet is the new Caffeinated Butterfly? I stamped out a whole bunch so I could play with different color combinations. Have you seen the other caffeinated critters in the new release? Oh, how I love them all! Be sure to hop along with us for more inspiration and to see the new sets.
