Light Up the Christmas Tree with Guest Designer Sandra

Hi crafty fellows, Sandra also known as addicted_to_creativity (www.instagram.com/addicted_to_creativity) on IG here with you today to show you a sweet light up card that fits perfectly for some holiday happy mail!

I was so honored and excited when Amanda asked me to guest in December because crafting with Pear Blossom Press´s EZ lights is so easy and fun you can´t stop after getting started.

My coloring and papercrafting story began in 2017 and I had never ever thought of getting that addicted to it. There isn´t a day without being crafty and if it´s only 5 minutes. I am a mom of 3 living in Germany and working on 10h nightshifts as a nurse for outpatient intensive care. In my spare time I also love to knit, crochet and sew.

Today’s project is all about Christmas and the twinkling lights on a Christmas tree because no one can resists these.

Copic Marker used:
Penguin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 13, 21, R20, N5, 7, 9, YR16, 18, Y35, 38
Scarf, Beanie: R17, 35, 37, 39, 46, B000, 000, 00, 01
Presents: YG25, 61, 63, 67, R17, 35, 37, 39, YR16, Y15, 35, 38

I started coloring my stamped image first then I fuzzy cut it and add foam tape to the back.

After doing that I decided on a large stitched arches die to die cut the christmas tree from the design paper. The paper base was glued to cardbase from white cardstock.

Pulled the paper off the tape and added the christmas tree to the cardbase too. Placed the penguin and after that I die cut some present boxes, colored them up and put them in place that when you press on the present the tree would light up.
