Light Up Your Halloween Cards with Halo Lights and Mini Wobbles!

Hi friends!

I’m Meg from I Teach Stamping (iteachstamping.com), and I’m so excited to be guest designing for Pear Blossom Press today!

If you’ve ever thought light-up cards looked complicated, I have great news…they’re much easier than they look! Pear Blossom Press has taken all the guesswork out of interactive cards with their Halo Lights. Everything is designed to work together, so you can spend more time creating and less time figuring out electronics.

For today’s card, I paired a Halo Light with a Mini Wobble for a Halloween card that’s full of personality. The ghost not only wiggles when you touch it, but the moon behind it lights up with a magical glow. It’s one of those cards that makes people smile the moment they interact with it!

The background was created with the Party Polka Dot Stencils using Pixie Dust and Orange Peel inks for a fun candy-inspired sky. Then I added the adorable images from It’s a Boo Thing from Crafty Stamp Co. The finishing touch was placing the Halo Light behind the moon, creating the perfect spooky spotlight for our floating little ghost.

Be sure to watch today’s video to see exactly how everything comes together. You’ll see just how quickly you can add lights and movement to your own handmade cards.

Inside the Card

Seeing the inside of the card makes it easy to understand where everything is placed. Don’t let interactive cards intimidate you. Once you’ve made one, you’ll be looking for excuses to add lights to everything!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy stamping!

XOXO,
Meg
