I know Mother’s Day is coming up sooner, but I just couldn’t wait to share this fun pop-up Father’s Day card. If you haven’t seen i-crafter’s Oval Pop-up Box Card, it’s awesome! The die set creates a really cool box card that pops up into an oval shape, almost like a football. I paired it up with the new You Are Positive Add-on set, and the Trophy and Pennants set to create a neat card my dad can display on a shelf.
Check out how cool the card is. I made sure to leave space on the back to write my message. And it folds flat to fit into an A2 envelope too.

You know how I love coloring die cuts, but to simplify the process, I cut the pieces from colored cardstock this time. A little shading with Copic markers adds dimension to the decorative pieces. (There’s no shading on the grey oval pop-up base.) I pulled a few other dies from my stash to help decorate the card. If you’d like to recreate this card here are the dies I used:
