Hello and welcome back to the Pear Blossom Press Blog! Enza Gudor here, and today I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card featuring EZ Lights.
I used two older Tim Holtz’ die sets to create this sweet, interactive card that is sure to put a smile on someone’s face.

SUPPLIES:
EZ Light – Pear Blossom Press
World’s Greatest Foam Tape – Pear Blossom Press
Vellum Translucent White – Pear Blossom Press
Celebrate, Colorize – Tim Holtz Sizzix
Scribbles & Splat – Tim Holtz Sizzix (discontinued, but any heart die would work)
Obsidian Pigment Ink – Altenew
Enamel Dots – Altenew
Cardstock – Scrapbook.com
CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
I started by die-cutting all my pieces from the two die sets. I picked classic Valentine’s Day colors with a pop of teal and gold. The hearts are pretty big, so I went with a 5×7 card.
To create more interest, I embossed the panel with a 3-D embossing folder from Spellbinders. This product has been discontinued, but any other embossing folder would work here. I just love the dimension and uniqueness it brings to the card.

After arranging my pieces on the panel, I punched 3 small holes behind the hearts for the lights and backed the die cuts with white vellum. I adhered everything to the background with foam dots, but not before placing the battery pack and lights on the back of the panel, making sure to line up the “Press here” button with the battery switch.

I then finished the card with a small sentiment and hearts enamel dots. For the balloon strings, I used twine.

It is so easy to create fun cards with EZ Lights. I hope you’ll give them a try. As always, you can find me on IG @enzam78. Thank you for stopping by. See you next time.
