Hello and welcome to the Pear Blossom Press Blog! Enza Gudor here, and I’m so excited to share my very first post with you as a design team member. You can find me on IG @enzam78.ย
For my card today, I used the Concord and 9thย By the Fire stamp and die set to reproduce a cozy, special corner in my husband’s grandmother’s home. When I saw this set, I had to have it as it brought back so many sweetย memories! The wood-burning stove is also perfect to light up with the Pear Blossom Press EZ Lights.
SUPPLIES:
EZ Light – Pear Blossom Press
Worldโs Greatest Foam Tape โ Pear Blossom Press
By the Fire Bundle – Concord and 9th
Brick Wall Background – A Pocket Full of Happiness
CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
This card was very easy to put together. I started by die-cutting all the pieces I needed to recreate the space. I ink-blended most of the die cuts to give them depth and a more realistic appearance. The wall brick background is a cover die that I used to emboss an A2 Kraft stock panel. Tip: using your dies to emboss is a great way to stretch your supplies ๐
Once I had the wood stove done, I prepared the background panel by poking three holes behind the flames to facilitate the placement of the lights. As you can see below, I covered the holes with adhesive tape after placing the lights inside. I then adhered the battery unit behind the wicker basket, making sure to line it up with the ‘Push here’ button, and used foam tape to attach the panel to the card base.ย
I love how it turned out. The EZ Lights worked perfectly for this.ย
I hope this card inspired you today. Thank you for stopping by. See you next time.
