Wild At Heart

Spring has sprung and it’s got me feeling a little wild at heart… So I made some cards. Lol, that’s my version of wild nowadays!

Aren’t they fun? They all have a mix of old and new stamps and dies from Heffy Doodle, and they’re the inspiration for this month’s Heffy Doodlers Challenge. Let’s take a closer look at each one and then I’ll share my supply list at the bottom, in case you are feeling a little wild too!

First up is my THANKS slimline. I love the bold new sentiments that just came out. The words themselves are large and welded together, so you have fewer individual pieces and they fill up a card fast. Plus they all have coordinating shadow dies, and several even come with frames too. The scalloped frame on this card is included with THANKS

Next, let’s look at the GO WILD card. It combines the same combo of critters, but this time I used the GO WILD sentiment with the leafy frame included in the set…

For the HANG IN THERE card, I stenciled my background instead of using a frame die. I think the tone-on-tone colors work nicely…

The last card I made was inspired by a combination of the three previous cards, and the parameters from last week’s Craft Roulette show. This time, instead of using the shadow die for IT’S YOUR DAY, I cut the words twice and stacked them slightly offset. I like the way it looks like a drop shadow…

I hope I’ve inspired you to go a little wild yourself. If you are, join this month’s Heffy Doodlers Challenge and post a photo of your project in the Facebook group. Each month, a winner is randomly selected to receive a £35 gift voucher to the Heffy Doodle shop! All of the details can be found on their blog, and on Facebook. Good luck my friend!

If you are looking for any of the stamps and dies I used for today’s cards, you’ll find them here…

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll be back later in the week with more fun cards to share. And this Saturday, May 7th, is International Scrapbook Day. We’ll be celebrating with a LIVE Hop on YouTube and Facebook, and ending with a Zoom party so everyone who hops along with us can hang out and share what we’ve worked on during the day. I hope you’ll join us! I’ll post the lineup and all of the details shortly. See you soon!
