The Blow out Birthday card is created using the Top Notch Birthday stamp set from House Mouse designs with the Candle Light from Pear Blossom Press. The image and sentiment is Heat embossed on Watercolor Cardstock with Versamark ink and Walnut Stain Distress Glaze. The image is Watercolored with Distress Watercolor pencils and Metallic ink pads before die cuttting with the Essential Arches die set. The matte for the image is inked with Coastline Metallic ink to coordinate with the image. The sentiment is trimmed down with a trimmer and watercolored with Lovestruck ink. Once dry it is added to the image piece.

The flame for the candle is cut out carefully with an exacto knife before adding the Candle light to the back using double sided tape to secure it. A “Press here” button is created using the Pear Blossom stamp & die bundle. It is stamped with Walnut stain ink before die cutting with one of the dies in the bundle and attaching to the front of the card where the Candle Light activation button is. Double thick foam tape is added around the Candle light before adding it on top of the inked matte. The Card base is created using two die cut Essential Arches die cuts. The back one is scored 1/2″ from the top before attaching to the front one and adding the Watercolored Candle light mouse.

Extra texture and dimension is added to the image using Glossy Accents and Stardust stickles and allowing to fully dry.
