I hope you have been enjoying my light up cards Guest Designing for Pear Blossom Press. I LOVE all their light up products because they are SO EASY to use! Especially, the ONE LIGHT I used in the Owlrageously cute Owl Card below.

Step One: I created the background using Your Next Stamp Mini Slim Star Die and Cloud Stencil to make the night sky. I knew I wanted one of the top larger stars to shine so I arranged the owls and moon around that star to make it stand out when the light up is pushed.

Step Two: I marked an X on my cardstock where the star is, so I could line up the LED (light) in the right spot. I taped down my ONE LIGHT so that the button lined up with the owl’s belly and the light lined up with the large top star. I stamped PUSH HERE on the owl’s belly. Then I layered DOUBLE THICK FOAM TAPE around the panel and taped it to my yellow base.
Step Three: I tested my button and TA-DA! It worked! SO SIMPLE!
