Amanda Stevens – you are here

So how about a clean and simple card, that has the wow factor of lights, and is fast and easy for mass production? I’ll show you a design that is all of those in my new video

I lined up several images from the Holiday Trees stamp set onto a 3¾” x 5″ white panel. Alternating colors, and masking as necessary, I stamped them in Tranquil Teal, Sea Glass, and Key Lime ink. Making sure to leave room inside the triangle on the left, I stamped PUSH HERE to indicate where the EZ-Light button will be. I also stamped PULL ME onto a 5/8″ strip of white cardstock. (I can tuck that under the battery before mailing, to ensure it won’t accidentally get drained en route.) Both of those stamps are in the Interactively Yours stamp set.

With the stamping complete, it was time to add lights! As you saw in the video, I just poked holes in the panel, right above each tree. I taped my EZ-Light in place on the back side of the panel, making sure to line the purple button up right behind PUSH HERE, and each light over a hole. After I tucked the 5/8″ strip under the battery, I added Double Thick foam tape around the panel, and popped it onto a teal A2 size card. To finish the card, I glued Star Shaped Gems on top of each light. This design is quick, easy, elegant, and perfect to mass produce. I hope I’ve inspired you to give it a try! (Tag me on social media if you do, so I can cheer you on!)

You’ll find EZ-Lights, along with everything else you need for light up cards in our shop.
