Hello, Cheryl here (aka @ArtsyIslandGirl ) sharing a ✨Light up✨ Outdoor Birthday card using Pear Blossom Press One light. The one light is SO easy to create with and is such a fun way to add an interactive element to cards and create “Wow” factor for the recipient! Ad
The card is started by stencilling the background scene using the Lakeside Memories layering stencil set with a variety of Distress inks. Stickles are addes in areas on the water for a touch of sparkle. The die cuts from the Trailside Trio, Camp Days and Trails end dies are assembled using liquie glue to help position. The flames for the lantern were die cut using Pear Blossom coloured vellum with scor tape added to the back before die cutting to create a vellum sticker and eliminate seeing the adhesive. The stencilled background is trimmed down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ before adding the die cuts and creating the scene. The Pear blossom stamp and die is used to stamp “press here” where the button for the one light will be. A Die pick is used to pierce a hole for the light of the One light. The One light is attached using score tape to secure. 3mm foam tape is added to the rest of the back and it is secured to an A2 card base. Glossy accents are added to the Racoon eyes and nose for Glossy domed dimension.
