Hello there! Carrie Rhoades back here on the Pear Blossom Press blog to share with you another Light Up Shaker card! Previously I shared with you a shaker card and the light up feature was a One Light, you can see it right HERE. Then I share a shaker that not only lit up using the Halo Lights but the Halo Light acted as the shaker as well, check it out HERE! Today I am sharing an Infinity Edge shaker that has EZ Lights on it. It’s super fun and has to be the easiest of the three. Take a look.
With the help of the Waffle Flower Shaker Covers, this A2 Full Panel shaker card was super easy to make. These covers are the perfect size, already have adhesive on the edges and are scored to fold easily. All I had to do was add a background and shaker elements. The background I used I found in my stash! I have so many backgrounds I have made myself using my Gel Press, and this is one of them. I cut it to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ to fit in the shaker cover. Then folded up and adhered three sides of the shaker cover around my background. Next I added some Soapy Bubbles Confetti from Trinity Stamps into the shaker cover. Lastly, I folded down and adhered the last flap of the cover. This seals it up and it is now a shaker!
Then it was time to work on my light up cupcake. The gorgeous Botanical Cupcake I used is from Trinity Stamps. I altered the image slightly as it originally had just one candle. And I colored it all up using colored pencils. The softer look that colored pencils give coordinated better with my background than coloring this image with Copic Markers would have.
