So what do you do when the Spellbinders team invites you to come tour their offices and film in their studio? You go for it, right?! Well, I did, and it was awesome. Lol, not the video part; I was a nervous wreck, but meeting everyone and getting to see how the business runs was really cool. Micah and I had a great time and the wheels are spinning with all of the collaboration ideas. I canāt wait to tell you moreā¦
Now about that video. Poor Gavin, he filmed and edited. I mustāve made him re-record the beginning a dozen times and I still sound like a choppy robot. I need to send him a box of chocolates. You can watch the video below, but I suggest you click the little setting wheel to speed up the playback. (Normally, I donāt talk while I film, so I can cut things out and speed them up. This video is real time, and I was really anxious.) In the video, I show you how to make two light-up cards, featuring our Halo Light Combo and the new Beautiful Wreaths Collection by Suzanne Hue. It really is a gorgeous collection with tons of possibilitiesā¦
At the end of the video, I showed several other cards that I made using the same lights and Beautiful Wreaths Dies and Add-ons. I created those by die cutting all of the pieces from white cardstock and coloring them with Olo Markers. I love the depth and dimension you can get. Itās like no-line coloring, but easier because you just color past the edge of the paper!
If youād like to create cards like this, here are the supplies youāll needā¦

I love the way these turned out. Especially, the ones where I colored the die cuts. Which is your favorite? I canāt wait to see which sets you pair together and how you light them up! You can incorporate other Spellbinders sets from your stash with the wreaths too. The possibilities are endless.
Thanks for stopping by today. Iāll be back soon with more fun cards to share. And itās not just me anymore; did you see our new Design Team? Theyāll begin sharing next month, so be sure to check back often!
