I decided to make a chic Halloween card with one of our new Halo Lights. Isn’t it fun? I love the hint of glam. Plus, there is no coloring, so this card was quick and easy to make.

If you want to create a card like this, grab your supplies and meet me in the craft room…

SUPPLY LIST
HALO LIGHT COMBO PACK
WORLD’S BEST FOAM TAPE
PUSH HERE STAMP SET
GEMS – NEW YEAR’S EVE PEARLS
IF THE BROOM FITS STAMP SET
NESTING CIRCLE DIES

First, you’ll want to cut an A2 card base and cover it with a grey panel. Cut a green panel to 3½” x 4¾” and mount it to a black panel, measuring 3” x 4.” Die cut a 2″ circle and stamp/heat emboss your sentiment underneath. Prep your other pieces before assembly: stamp and heat emboss the witch on a vellum panel, pull out 1-2 more vellum panels to layer behind her, nestle the 2″ circle into the next larger circle die and cut several round frames (one silver glitter, three white), reserve one of the white center circles. Snap out a Halo Light and insert the battery.

To figure out where to stamp “PUSH HERE” on the green panel, line it up in your Misti with the Halo Light on top. Then, place your stamp on top of the button and close the lid. Remove the light and stamp.

To figure out where to place your Halo Light on the card base, line up the green panel on top and glue the white circle in the hole. Remove the panel and adhere the light to the card base, making sure to angle it so the button will line up under where you stamped “PUSH HERE.” That’s it, the hard part’s done!

Now it’s time to cover it up. Center the witch behind the window and glue it in place. Add 1-2 more layers of vellum to help diffuse the light. Use some of our World’s Best Double Thick Foam Tape around the panel, leaving space for the light. The nice thing about using our foam tape is that it’s repositionable at first. That means you can pull it up and move it around if you need to. It will become permanent overnight.

Flip the panel back over and adhere it in place. Stack the round frames and glue them around the window. Finish the card with silver pearls for more shimmer and glitz.
